[SOLVED]-Incorrect login scrn resolution-Even after setting xorg.conf correctly

I have a dell Inspiron 6000 with 15.4WSXGA+ screen. I have set 1280X1024@60 for my desktop. But my login screen seems to have 640X480 resolution. Heres my xorg.conf. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Incorrect login screen resolution - Even after setting xorg.conf correctly

I have an ACER Aspire 3610 Model with an Integrated Intel graphics card.

I get the same problem as you however I just decided to ignore it since I am able to type my password in and log in without a problem. (Also your only at the log in screen for all of what, a couple of seconds?)

From a terminal window issue the following command
      sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
A text based utility will come up, answer the questions correctly, log out and then log in, your problem should be solved.
