[SOLVED]-Do not want CD-ROM Icon to be displayed on Kubuntu Gutsy desktop

Hi,

I am a novice Kubutnu user. When I insert a CD into my CD drive, I don't want the CD icon to be displayed on my desktop.

I want it to be mounted, be seen under storage media and also do an auto-play. But just don't want the icon on my desktop.

How can I do that.

Open System Settings (KMenu -> System Settings) -> Desktop -> Behavior tab -> Device Icons and uncheck the "mounted CD-ROM", "mounted DVD", "unmounted CD-ROM", and "unmounted DVD" options.
