Ok now that im fairly comfortable with GG7.10
i thought that id start doing some web development.
i have a site in a folder containing 23 php pages. what i
want to do is cahnge the path string to another and also
quite a few images path pointers. these path string is on every page.
i wanted to use the stock web tool Quanta but it does not
support a find and replace at all (im was spoiled by dreamweaver)
however i dont want to manually change every page has this is sooo
not to be done in this day and age.
i was wondering and i hope the answer can be yes.
that there is another free WeB IDE that can do find and replace
for every file within the site folder. is there any that you know of ?
i was looking at grep and some linux string commands but they
can only do searches but not replace. (unless i overlooked something)
so can grep fulfill my needs ?
