KDE desktop doesn't load at start up

After installed KDE4 I tried to restart my computer, and It doesn't load the KDE desktop. I don't know if it something canged in my configuration?

So where does the system stop, do you pass the log-in, do you get a command prompt?
In that case what happens when you type:
$ startx

All assuming you have followed the instructions described at:
http://kubuntu.org/announcements/kde4-beta3.php

Did you plan to run KDE4 inside a second X terminal as this page recommends or did you do a full replace of the existing KDE3.5?

I pass the login but when it tries to load KDE it stops...and I see only the desktop blank
