I started to use Kworquiz and Kvoctrain and entered some russian-hungarian vocabulary. Russian characters appeared OK, but Hungarian á é ő ű ú ö ü ó didn't (they appeared as two boxes). After a few hours googling, and reading ubuntu and kubuntu forums I didn't found anything that helps.
Intersting, that in Kword, Openoffice, Firefox etc. everything is OK, and when I paste a word, for example 'ért' (means: understands) into related apps, they appear as normal. I have both the Hungarian and Russian language packs installed, and tried to change the system font to Arial, Lucida Unicode, and other fonts, which "know" Hungarian accented chars, but that didn't helped.
Please help me to understand and solve the problem.
