I've got compiz automatically starting when I log on, but sometimes I need it off because there are issues it has with different programs such as open office.
Is there a nice way to turn compiz off without logging out? I've been killing the process, but when I do that I lose my title bar at the top of my window and need to log out and back in to get things in working order again.
