How to get the glossy taskbar(ex that of vista) in kubuntu????

Hey friends as i am a newbie plzz help me out.

what to download if i want to get the theme(glossy effects,icons etc) similar to vista. If u mention it i will download it~~~~~~~~~ ANOTHER QUESTION IS IF THE DOWNLOADED FILE IS OF TAR TYPE..PLZZ TELL ME PROCEDURE HOW TO INSTALL IT. I READ MANY FORUMS 4 INSTALLING TAR FILES ...BUT I DINT SUCCEED....PLZZZ HELP ME OUT FRIENDS!!!

I suggest you use adept or synaptic to install programs.
Use the search function in those applications to search for the word menu for instance.
Others might point you to the correct applications you are searching for.
Oh and your caps lock key seems to be stuck.

To install kicker / panel backround:
Unpack the tar file by right clicking on the file and choosing actions->unpack into sub-folder (or similar, mine is in german) next richt click on your panel (taskbar) and choose panel coniguration (again mine is german)->apperance->backround. Navigate to the file you just unpacked and choose a color. Apply. Done
