    Terminal & irssi to understand http links

    Hi,

    Im runnin irssi (in a terminal) and i was wondering if there is any way for terminal to recognize links to web?

    Now i'm running nutty with wine, and it is not a long term solution

    for example xubuntu terminal can underline links, and it has possibility (with right click) to open those links in a web browser

      I don't know of any such function in Konsole.
      I'm sure you could create such a function in Irssi if one doesn't exist already.

      You could also get the terminal Xubuntu uses, and use that...
      For external use only.

        well using xfce4-terminal did the trick. Didn't even cross my mind that it would work on KDE

          New Konsole terminal program in KDE4 seems to know links.
