Hi all, I just finished an upgrade on my laptop to gutsy. Everything went smoothly with one exception, that being hibernation. My hibernation does not work with the suspend button on the shutdown menu or with the suspend to disk button on the left click kpowersave menu. When I close the lid on the laptop nothing happens.
I can run either hibernate or s2disk from the command prompt and the system hibernates and resumes just fine. I know there must be a configuration file somewhere that controls this but I'll be d@mn if I can find it. I have googled around and searched these forums and the ubuntu forums. I have investigated the suggestions I have found there.
Until I find the solution I have hotkeyed s2disk and I am able to use that effectively, but I would sure like to be able to just shut the lid on my laptop and go. I am forgetful and will probably forget to press the keys to hibernate. Like it did before the upgrade.
