Last night when I closed an application the Application Task Bar (Main Panel?) at the bottom of my desktop disappeared as well. For the life of me I cannot find it and bring it back. I've opened a panel at the top of the desktop and have been able to access the KDE Menu, but cannot find the panel settings that I have used in other distributions such as Fedora. Can anyone tell me how to get my task bar back?

Found the answer in this forum. Alt-F2, kcontrol, Desktop, Panels. Application Task bar is back. -
