Trying to install kubuntu-restricted-extras failed & now Adept Manager complains

Hi,

I've just tried to install kubuntu-restricted-extras.
The installation failed for some reason.
Now when I try to open the Adept Manager a window jumps up and says:

The title is: "Database Locked - Adept Manager"
Then the text: "Another process is using the packaging system database (probably some other adept application or apt-get or aptitude).
Would you like to attempt to resolve this problem? No will enter read-only mode and Cancel to quit and resolve this issue yourself."

This does NOT change after rebooting.

I'd appreciate any help.

Apparently this from the 3rd link solved it:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
