Two Compiz-fusion questions

I'm playing around a bit with Compiz now and I have ran into two things I cannot figure out.

1. How to change the desktop backgrounds so I can make each side of the cube have a different background.

2. To play games (Sim City 4) I have to disable Compiz, to do this I
kwin --replace
then when I'm done
compiz --replace.
This is not working well. I go into kwin fine and all is well but when I go back to compiz it usually takes a few restarts to get my titlebars back and the computer running normal again. Anyone know a cleaner way to go about doing this?

If you get answer to this one, I'd love to hear it too. As far as I can tell, it can't be done. :P


I'll be interested in #2 also -- it doesn't work great for me either, although I don't really need to turn off compiz, so it's not a problem.
