    Thunderbird 2 won't launch URLs in emails.

    I ran into this when I upgraded to Tbird2 in Feisty. Now that I've upgraded to Gutsy it's back.

    When I click on a link in an email nothing happens. When I hover over a link I get the little pointing hand curor but clicking does nothing.

    PS: I never resolved it in Feisty. I rolled back my Firefox version and it worked properly again.

    Make sure Thunderbird is closed and try adding the following line to you pref.js file it will be located in something like "/home/your username/.mozilla-thunderbird/random.default/pref.js"

    Once you have found this open in a text editor and add the following line: user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.http", "/usr/bin/firefox");

    If you dont want to use firefox just repalce it with the browser you wish to use.
