    Print Preview crashes Firefox browser

I haven't read any posts regarding this bug.

Does anyone know what the solution/fix is?

I googled and it seems in Ubuntu, you have to update gtk. Would that apply to Kubuntu or is there another fix? Kubuntu uses QT? Would one update that and expect a fix?

I don't know but I can confirm the issue. I'll have a look at launchpad.

    Edit: yep, it is there.

That is probably the same one you saw.
I posted a question and will wait for the response.

I tried to confirm but it worked fine. Also I think Firefox uses GTK and not QT but that shouldn't be an issue. A lot of apps use gtk and they will work quite well with KDE/QT. I wander if it's not something in kmenu>>system settings>>appearence>>gtk styles??

Re: Print Preview crashes Firefox browser

It didn't help to update with me. Anything I can do?

Also, I can have two browsers open (i.e. two sessions?) and trying a print preview on one crashes both browsers.

          ***EDIT:

I updated the following *gtk* packages and now I can use print preview without Firefox crashing:

          libgtk2.0-0 2.12.0-1ubuntu3

          libgtk2.0-common 2.12.0-1ubuntu3
