    Azureus crash at first startup

    Hi everyone

    I just installed Java 6 Runtime Environment and after that Azureus. When I start it up, it shows that "first-time-run"-screen, where I have to enter language and other information like that. But after about 2-3 seconds, the windows just disappears.

    Now, this is the output konsole gives me:
    intex@intex-laptop:~$ azureus
    changeLocale: *Default Language* != English (Denmark). Searching without country..
    changeLocale: Searching for language English in *any* country..
    changeLocale: no message properties for Locale 'English (Denmark)' (en_DK), using 'English (default)'

    I also checked out that logfile afterwards. I've posted it's contents on http://paste.ubuntu-nl.org/41003/

    Really hope anyone is able to help me. This Java thing has given me some trouble already. If Java is the problem, that is.

    The backtrace looks helpful, especially this line (110):
    0x088dc800 JavaThread "LAN Peer Finder::Tracker" daemon [_thread_blocked, id=6708]
    Is it possible to disable this service, see if that fixes it?

    Try also looking for support on the Azureus site.

      I've tried the Azureus site for help, but I can't find anything useful. Also, how do I disable a service like that? I'm all new to Linux.

        Well, normally I'd suggest trying the configuration, but since you can't even start it up...

        I'd look around for a configuration (perhaps ~/.azureus) and post on forums or ask in an IRC channel.

          I got it working via a direct install using azureus's installation proceedures in the readme. It has the new vuze stuff with it..... not entirely sold on that.....but it works none the less.
