Looks like it did. It's an old, unmaintained program, so maybe they decided to drop it in lieu of Compiz and friends.

Too bad, though, I liked it for its simplicity. Seems like you can safely install the Feisty version. Get it from http://packages.ubuntu.com/feisty/utils/3ddesktop
