Hope someone can point me in the direction to a good working instant message program as Kopete is not working for me at the mo in Tribe5 will not stay connected to MSN or send any messages so I need a good substitute till they get it sorted (have reported it to the relevant devs) Anyone? It must work with MSN in tribe 5.

Yes Pidgin is the only sub but it gives no sound to me after the last system update, and it won't connect automatically when the system boot up. The Kopete problem with me is it does not connect at all.Do you Yahoo ? No I hiccup only :PComment

Ok I figured out why Pidgin gives no sound, the default sound folder usr/share/sounds/pidgin changed to ......../purple !!! and now Kopete works too after update but it gives no sound !!! the sounds files location is correct but gives no sound when I test in 'notification', but the file itself plays ok, what's the name of the game !?Do you Yahoo ? The name of the game is 'wonder what won't work next?' and is only to be found in beta testing! All part and parcel of the 'living on a knife edge' that we all love about testing beta software!

I tried to get back the sound today and they all worked after reboot that is good, but Kopete no longer connects, who's the joker I had enough >
