As I am not sure where to report this, in Gutsy Tribe 4, it informs me that there is an update to my graphics card (unsupported) that is needed in order to display 3d etc, but if I install it, it causes Network manager to disconnect my internet connection! Nvidia accelerated graphics card. I have now uninstalled it and the network is now reconnected. Oh and as an addendum since the last updates, I have lost all sound.

Before updating (a kernel update?) did you have system sound without having to put an option on your kernel line in grub?Originally posted by technogranWindows no longer obstructs my view.

I am sorry I honestly haven't a clue what you are talking about. Anyway the problem is now resolved as I have gone back to Vista.Scrub that, I am now back with Gutsy!!! have reloaded it and I am trying again. I must learn to have patience with these beta versions! So far so good.Comment
