Konqueror still font problems.

    Konqueror still font problems.

    This problem seems fixable, as KDE3.7 Konqueror in Debian Lenny shrinks and enlarges webpage fonts fine.
    Gutsy tribe2 KDE3.7 Konqueror still has problems despite updates.
    So I guess it is a gutsy, not a KDE problem

    Hi,
    with the latest Konqueror update, BBC world service now shrinks fonts but Wikipedia still does not.
    So getting there I guess.

    Most webpages now allow font adjustment in Gutsy Konqueror, but still not Wikipedia, so still problems

      Hi,
      still no improvements in Konqueror font shrinking, despite a new konqueror in the recent upgrades.
      Both Wikipedia and BBC world service suffer this problem but not in Firefox or Seamonkey(FYI installed from source, as no ubuntu repo deigns to package this fine browser so far with integrated mail, for reasons best known to the packagers. Now the very existence of thunderbird, according to slashdot is under threat too)
      Konqueror is normally a legendary browser too when it functions properly.

        Konqueror still font problems in Tribe 3

        Still, after latest updates, in tribe 3 no font shrinking or enlarging with wikipaedia fonts, but noone else reports this, so perhaps my AMD 64 venice core 3000+ ATI machine is unique in Kubuntuland, as noone else commiserates. In other websites I visit in Konqueror now can adjust fonts.
        Guess Wikipaedia is just difficult and in the too hard basket for now.
        However as mentioned Debian Lenny and Sid Konqueror versions adjust fonts for Wikipedia on this same machine, so it can work in Kubuntu too I guess.

        Congratulations too as the Gutsy child board is fixed now.
        Oh well I give up on this solo thread, its rather lonely in here.
