Konsoles don't group up in taskbar

    Hi!

Does anyone else have the problem that multiple Konsoles don't group up in the taskbar?

I have all the running applications from all virtual screens in there, and 14 Konsoles takes a bit too much room from the taskbar...

Multiple Konquerors and multiple firefoxes do group up... :-o

I'm not sure about the lack of grouping of the konsole windows, but I know that konsole does support tabbed sessions/shells/whatever, so you can keep it to one or two windows if you'd like. Instead of opening the new window, just go to Session and select "New Shell" and you'll get a new tab in your same konsole window.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the idea, but that's not what I want. I have different things on different virtual desktops and on some of them I want to see the contents of the Konsoles with one look, so multiple Konsoles is needed.

But you don't have grouping problem with Konsole in the taskbar?

I confirm that on my current "Gutsy" / KDE 3.5.7 the Konsole(s) refuse to group (while e.g. several instances of Konqueror behave as expected; on "Feisty" / KDE 3.5.6 there seems to be no such problem).
