System settings crash

    System settings crash

    Everytime I select System settings it crashes with the folowing:-

    (no debugging symbols found)

    confirmed. i was thinking it was related to the fact that my kde control center is empty again like on feisty at certain times. i posted a thread about that, can you check and see if your control center is empty too?

        i said the kde control center, NOT "system settings". they're two different but somewhat similar things.

              Kubuntu's "System Settings" are intended to replace KDE's original "Control Center" (further reading).

                I can confirm SystemSettings crashes here too (AMD64 4400X2), after taking the leap to the bleeding edge that is Gutsy.

                KControl only has one device under it (OBEX), and shows none of its usual system controls, so I'm seeing exactly what you guys are seeing.
                Specs:&nbsp; Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (@3Ghz), G.SKILL 4GB DDR2 1066, ASUS Striker II Formula MB, Asus EN9800GTX+ Dark Knight, ABS Tagan BZ800 PS, Antec 900 Case.

                  I can also confirm this. I'm running AMD64 Gutsy. One thing i have noticed with this problem is that all the individual apps within system settings now appear in the lost and found folder in my KDE menu.
