Hello everyone,
I recently put on Kubuntu 7.10 with LinuxMCE on one of my extra machines. I'm using it (obviously) as a media center. The problem is that I have a Gigabyte wp01gs wireless adapter. I've gone ahead and am using the ndiswrapper driver for the card. I've done all the install, and it works properly. I have even blacklisted the native linux drivers (rt61 and rt61pci). The problem is after any prolong network usage (which is a lot, since this machine is mounting all the media from a NAS server) causes a kernel panic and the PC locks up completely. Any ways to patch this bug? My current kernel is 2.6.22.
If you need any addtl. info, feel free to ask.
Matt
