hello, need assistance with ndisgtk and wireless drivers

I am running kubuntu 7.10 and attempting wireless setup. I loaded ndisgtk fine and pointed to the .inf driver. ,,,kubu seemed to accept it, so I plugged in
my usb wireless dude (dlink g120...version b-1) and it says " no hardwear"

Q- does that mean it doesn't match the driver? Or what?
I am not totally gnew to linux, but wireless is odd...or uhm...difficult for me.

Q- when and how do I input / load the .sys file ( I unnerstand I will need that file from my windozer pc--xp driver)?

I did not have any luck using the graphical front ends for ndiswrapper. I have found that using the command line for this worked much better. If you have any questions...
