etho IP auto

I don't seem to have an option for auto IP on KDENetworking.

No idea about static addresses.

I am actually on dialup but want to take the computer in to my local shop to use their cable connection for an upgrade.

I have never had a distro which didn't give me the option for an auto IP gateway before so I am out of my depth.

Hi,

If you're looking to enable dhcp on eth0, the easiest way I know is to edit the /etc/network/interfaces and add it by hand :
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
