So I don't know that this belongs here or in software, but here is the deal - its been a while since I've really had to deal with hardware, so I'm not sure of some requirements.
I picked up a Dell Inspiron 530s and a 531s (One is Intel, one is AMD), and I'd like to get a wireless card in there so I can remove the crap (Vista) which was preinstalled and actually use my new toys. Since its a small form factor, there are two minipci, one minipci-e, and one minipci-ex16 slots. So, my thought was, why not keep it simple and go for an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card? However, I don't know that I can actually use one.
So... can I? Any other recommendations for a minipci wifi card that would work with those boxes (and gutsy of course)? I'd like to avoid buying something that will need ndiswrapper, I've got a preference for hardware with some real Linux support.
Thanks
