A Linux newbie here. Just finished a triple boot setup Gutsy/XPpro/Vista and would very much appreciate help on getting Gutsy connected to the Internet. On other OS:s I do it through IR and a mobile GPRS/UMTS connection. I have tried to look for a solution but haven't found one, so I'm asking help here.
First of all, my HP Pavilion ZD7395ea has an infrared built in, but can't find it in the system. Next obvious question is how do I make it speak the mobile phone's language, is to say, drivers.
The mobile is a Sharp GX17 through IR or alternatively can use Nokia N70 through USB. No BT at the moment...
If I can just get Gutsy to Internet, I promise to try to find the answers myself
Could somebody please help? Be patient, have to make it simple for me , still learning the thing...
