    Public file server applet

    Hi

    I accidentally happened to start the public file server applet
    now it runs when the OS loads
    how do i go about disabling it

    Maybe:
    K Menu | System Settings | Advanced | System Services and as Administrator, click on the service and click Stop and uncheck Start during boot
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.

      it was actually not running, but you helped me explore stuff

      i just had to remove it from kicker
      merry xmas and have a gr8 year ahead

        Glad you figured it out. And a Merry Christmas to you also. Ours is a white one - snowing on Christmas day.
