I have installed Kubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon and updated it fully, but the problem isn't solved yet.
Whenever I login to KDE, Knetworkmanager doesn't see my network interfaces (I use manual configuration). But when I try the manual configuration option, I can see the device to be configured as eth0 and everything works fine for the editing part. But even after restarting the computer, it says Device: No Active Device.
Due to this I cannot logon to my ISP. as there's no network to be seen. But if I logon from Windows and reboot to Kubuntu, Internet works fine as if there were no problems at all.
A Bug?
