Help! Connecting Kubuntu to a Netware server

I have Kubuntu on my Laptop and Netware at work. Does anyone have any experience with connecting to a netware server?

the ncpfs package seems to do that but I have no idea how to use it as there seems to be no instructions/website on how to use it. There are some man pages for syntax of certain commands but where do I start?.

Apparently the Novell client is only for suse and I read that people were unsuccessful in converting it w alien.

    Any suggestions?

How to mount Novell network drives might provide some helpful information.

Thanks, looks like a nice step-by-step procedure.

I guess all I need to find out is the proper naming for the server and directories and just use ncpmounrt.

I will try it and report back.

You're welcome. If you get this working, a post on what you had to do (a How To) for the benefit of others would be welcome.

          So far no luck.
i think i am entering the server wrong or something. If anyone has a suggestion on how to find the correct server name/address.

          I am getting this error:
          linux@HP-Laptop:~$ sudo ncpmount -S Exs -U xxx -P xxx /media/Exs
ncpmount: Server not found (0x8847) when trying to find EXS

EXS is what I believe to be the server.
