Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc) Use the QUOTE tag instead.
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.

I looked on ubuntuforums and several other places and not one mentioned needing madwifi for this nic. All said that it worked out of the box and a few mentioned ndiswrapper.
That's how I got wireless working on my laptop. I tried the restricted drivers in Gutsy, but those did not work. I used ndiswrapper on another laptop before, so I know it works. Good luck, and if something doesn't work, let me know.
