Using Gutsy with built in wireless on a laptop, "wireless assistant" works flawlessly to connect to Internet on Opera and Firefox but will not connect Konqueror. Prior to Gutsy I used Dapper and had no such problem. But on Gutsy I can only connect Konqueror to the Internet via cable. I have searched the posts to see if anyone else has experienced this but can't find a similar issue.

OK, I solved it by tinkering with the settings on Konqueror: Tools > HTML Settings > Cache Policy > check Offline Browsing Mode and voila' it works, although why the blazes it does is beyond me!
Anyway, now I can connect by wireless to the Internet with the Konqueror web browser. Hopefully this will help others who may have the same problem.
