Activating Broadcom Firmware: 'Specify firmware location' Dialog

When trying to activate the Broadcom 43xx firmware from the 'Restricted Drivers' applet in 'System Settings' a dialog box with title: "Specify firmware location" pops up saying:

"Please specify where the firmware can be found. This can either be a file on your system CD-ROM, Windows partition, etc) or a URL"

    What/where should I specify?

Fwiw, when I first installed K7.10, I had an Intel wireless card installed. It was incompatible with my hardware, so I put the Broadcom card back in. So perhaps the proper firmware was not added at installation?

In any case, what/where should I specify?

(I have an HP dv2312us laptop with a Broadcom 4311 wireless card)

In '/lib/firmware' there is a file 'bcm43xx_microcode11.fw' but it contains the text:

"this is just a fake file to prevent postinst scripts"

Also, in '/lib/firmware/2.6.22-14-generic' there does not appear to be any obvious broadcom files. I do however see ipwxxx files (intel pro wireless I assume) which makes me think that maybe broadcom firmware files were not added b/c the intel card was installed when I installed Gusty?

Any help would be much appreciated.
