Ok, so I installed this new version of Kubuntu onto my computer, and now I cannot do anything with my network adapters.
I have a wired adapter as well as a wireless one. When I go into the network manager, it shows me 2 adapters: eth0 and wlan0. I want to disable the eth0 so that only my wireless adapter is being recognized.
I set up all of my network info for my wireless adapter (manual ip, subnet mask, etc) and then select the disable the wired adapter. Once I click the "Apply" button, it hangs for a few seconds like it's processing my changes, b ut then both adapters are enabled again once the save process stops.
I tried running ifdown and ifup on both adapters and it says they are not configured. Where do I go from here?
