    unknown interrupt or fault...

    look...I have a Pentium D 3.2, an ATI Radeon 512MB and 2GB of RAM.
    when I start installing gutsy gibbon a message of error appears
    I've searched for it on the net, but I was not able to find it.
    here's the message: "Unknown interrupt or fault at EIP 00000246 00000060 c01022b6"

    can anyone help me?

    sounds like a hardware fault - have you tried running the memtest from the live CD overnight? You might want to...

      I've tried it but it was taking so long that I´d given up
