Manual partitionning & sharing swap partition with fedora

    Hello
I'm installing kubuntu 7.10 , but don't understand the manual partitionining part
I've selected "manual partirtionning" and selected /dev/sda10 with a "/" mount point , and I kept my swap partition unformatted coz 'm using it for fedora
finishing the partitionning gives me a red message saying " no root file system mounted"
    so what 's wrong ?

    thanks for replying

Prolly you're not scrolling all the way down to the bottom of that first screen that shows the partitions (after you have selected the mount points), and choosing "Finished with this -- move on" or whatever it says wayyyyyyy down there.

.....red message saying " no root file system mounted
In some cases you simply have to delete / recreate / reformat and mount that partition as "/".
