URGENT HELP. Grub's being an ass.

Hi, i had a problem a while ago installing linux. i got that sorted by actually installing kubuntu onto my external hard drive, using my mums laptop... the downside is that when installing, i forgot to uncheck grub. Now when i load up my mums laptop (who seems to love her windows XP) i get grub trying to load, and get " error 21". What should i do? I have no XP disk, computer came with XP installed... and she is ademant that she does not want linux, she only wants windows. All i need is to uninstall te grub loader from within a linux live CD so that she can load up windows...

at the moment, the computer loads up, grub tries to run, the error message appears and hangs... windows does not even try to load. and nor does linux, because her PC cant boot from an external hard drive, just the live CD.

And if i've totally mucked this up, my mother is going to kill me and slap me into another world lol.

But seriously, help is much appreciated.
