device icons not visible on desktop

    Hello,

    I've switched to kubuntu 7.1 64bit and I've got a strange behaviour:
I don't have any device icons showing on the desktop (storage etc.) eventhough I've set all on in the configure desktop menu.

The funny thing is that as soon as I plug a device (i.e. a cdrom or an usbkey) all icons suddenly appear.

    Any clues?

    Thanks a lot
    Luca

Tis the behavior of Gutsy (at least it is for me). It wasn't this way in Feisty. I just don't worry 'bout it.

Ok, I'll ignore it for now.
