    The only way to get back to normal (from what I've been told) is to delete the KDE4 directory in your home directory.

          in kdm, the graphical login screen, click on the bottom right page like icon. Select session KDE and login in as normal...

          Fintan, the forum kde4 man, might have more enlightened ideas but this should get you going again...

              Glad to hear. KDE4 has a few annoyances at the moment, but I have grown to like it quite a bit. Just waiting for a little more stability, which I hope HH will have.

                $HOME/.kde4/share/config/kwinrc
                under
                Code:
                [Compositing]
                Enabled=true --> Enabled=false

                  That definitely is better than wiping the entire folder. Thanks!
