<fixed>Dude - my install always blows up on SW upgrade

I've been running Ubuntu 7.04 on my Dell laptop and my custom bilt desktop (Intel MB + P4 Dual) for quite some time -- happy ! I then down loaded the Kubuntu 7.10 iso and booted it ... VERY NICE - Me likey.

On both my laptop and my desktop the OS says it needs an update - but crashes (actually reports an error) and then you must exit the upgrade --- this looks to be a frequent error as I see other posts kinda similar.

So whats the "bug" fix process in Kubuntu land ?? I know this is a smaller community - of both users + programmers working on the OS -- how often is a updated iso put out ? Or will there be a sticky post for common problems ?

I'm downloading Kubuntu 7.04 and will check that out .... I know 2 months ago I tried out Ubuntu 7.10 and was not ready for release IMHO --- guessing same thing here
