    Re: Loading hardware drivers then..error?

    I selected that, I don't think I it worked though, the last line displays:

    [36.862731] ==========

    If I was supposed to actually get into Gusty that didn't happen, this is the boot screen...

    This also happened under "Loading Hardware drivers"

    Although on the bright side I think I disabled the Chipset though Windows...I found it in device manager and selected disable.

      Re: Loading hardware drivers then..error?

      Hmm. Even in Recovery Mode.

      Okay, Reboot (isn't that always the 'fix'!). From the menu, look at the bottom of the screen for the options. If memory serves me, pressing 'e' allows you to edit the kernel line options. You want to cursor over to the quite and splash options and delete them. Cursor to the end of the kernel line (all the way to the right) and press Enter to boot. This will allow you to see all of the boot messages. Note the last one when the system 'hangs' if it does.

        Re: Loading hardware drivers then..error?

        Yea I can't get the actual error message because its shoot up the screen by stuff like this:
        [36.862731] ==========

        If it helps at all:

        PCI Hot Plug PCI Core

        Standard Hot Plug PCI Controller

        Are parts of the first two lines. (I took a picture of the screen with a digital camera :P)

          (Yeah, it's "reboot" again).

          Press 'e' to edit the kernel line and again, remove splash and quite, but this time, add noapci and then cursor to the end of the line and press Enter.

            Re: Loading hardware drivers then..error?

            Yea now I have a never ending stream of messages shooting up the screen. I can't make any sense of what is saying their going so fast..

            Its still going right now..I think I'm gonna reboot it again.

            Edit: Its also mentioning a scsi...? Don't know if that helps I just catch it in lines now that I'm looking at the pictures on the camera.

            Nvm forget that edit that is from a picture I took to early before the Hardware driver loads.
