I want to make a clean installation of Kubuntu in order to use KDE 4. According to Kubuntu's website, I seem to have two choices: use the regular version of Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon and then update packages, or download a live CD that comes with KDE 4. I'd prefer to download the ISO that comes with KDE 4, but the website says that this version is meant to test the system without installing packages. Would I be able to install the packages anyway and use it as my regular desktop? In what sense is this an "unsupported remaster"? Would I be better off with the regular Gutsy Gibbon? Notice that I would like a stable system, so Hardy is out of question right now.
Thanks,
Tiago
