    whats my root password??

    Weired, I installed some stuff, it ask me my password, i put my account password
    but what is my root password that i never created? When i go console and I type
    su it ask for my root, right but when i type my password that i use to login it doesn't
    yet that same password does work in adept... WTF is going on here? Did i missed
    something?

    Yes you did. *buntu really doesn't use the root account. That is for your protection and the security of your system. *buntu uses the sudo and kdesudo commands. Sudo is for command line/non-gui commands and kdesu is to run KDE/graphical commands. The first time you run a sudo command it will ask for YOUR password. Not the root password, the password that you set up with your account. If you don't use sudo (for I think 15min) it will time out and you will have to enter your password again when you use it. Get used to it, it works pretty well and will keep you out of trouble.

          EVERYONES ROOT PASSWORD IS ROOT
          I love fairy's i would love to become one as they are so beautiful and special. I changed my name it used to be amber123.
