Can't upgrade without live CD, but doesn't work with live CD.

Hello,
I recently performed a fresh install of 7.10 Gutsy to my laptop, but I have noticed that now, whenever I try to run adept to update, or install certain packages, it asks me to install the live CD I used to install the O.S with. If I do insert the CD, it does download the updates, but often states that it cannot commit changes. I have noticed that the only time it really has an error commiting changes is when it asks for the disk.

Any ideas? This is really preventing me from getting my machine up and running.

You need to open Adept Manager. Click on Adept | Manager Repositories
On the first tab, ensure everything is checked except Source Code (unless you will be downloading source code for compiling).
On the Third-Party Software tab uncheck or Remove the CD repository entry.
Click on Close.
Adept should update. If it doesn't, click on Fetch Updates.
