I know someone who installed Kubuntu on an x86 based iMac and had no problems, but they did have to use Lilo instead of Grub (apparently Grub can't boot OS X).
Well, I am going to try a similar stunt, only on a PPC iMac. I DL'd the PPC version of 7.10. Has anyone tried this and can give any pointers before I start? Normally I'm not heasitant at messing with a computer, but installing OS X on this machine is a real bear that I'd rather not fight again... so needless to say I want the Kubuntu install to go smooth.
Any advice would be appreciated!
