I have a dual boot Toshiba laptop (XP and Kubuntu 7.10). XP boots fine, but Kubuntu goes to a black screen and doesn't load. anyone else having this problem or anything like it, and does anyone know the cause/fix?

First, try touching the space bar or moving the mouse.
If nothing comes up, have a look at this:
