Mozilla Windows display improperly after upgrade

I used the Adept upgrade wizard to go from Feisty to Gutsy. Everything *appears* to have gone well -- except for one major, noticeable difference. My Mozilla products (Firefox, Sunbird & Thunderbird) have distinct lines between the different 'elements' of the window (toolbars, bookmarks, etc).

    Before upgrade:

    Lines show up after upgrade:

I re-installed firefox and thunderbird (through Adept) and it didn't seem to help. Is there some configuration change I need to make?

    Thanks!

I hadn't noticed it on mine before, but yes, the lines are there.
I'm using CrystalFox Modern 1.1, and i thought to see if it's the skin, so i tried changing skins but now i find i can't use another skin... i can select one, close Firefox and the Quickstarter, restart it, and it's still the same skin. Even logging out then in again doesn't work.

I'm sure that this is only since i upgraded Firefox to 2.0.0.11, i tend to change skins whenever i feel like it.

I have that same version, but I'm using only the default theme that comes with firefox. I also have a laptop that I did a fresh install on -- but the problem is not there (normal display).

What plugins are you using? The last i installed was Quickstarter - about four or five days ago.
I haven't changed skins in that time.

Don't have Quickstarter. But I have Tabbed Browser Plus, Colorful Tabs, User Agent Switcher, Adblock Plus, and Forecast Fox.

But I don't think it's extensions, because it affects EACH of my Mozilla products. There is something in the Mozilla code (I guess) that needs corrected -- I just don't know what!

              Thanks for trying.

But I don't think it has anything to do with the theme, since it affects ALL of my mozilla products.

I've just managed to uninstall the CrystalFox theme - i had to <Kill> one Firefox, and three Firefox bin processes that were running....
I'm now using the Default theme, and the curves are smooth.
Lines are apparent on the other skins, though. *shrugs*

All i can say is: "Blind antelope".

So, are you saying that in the Default theme, you have a 'normal' display (ie, no thick lines between toolbars, as in above screenshot).

I'm wondering if starting with a fresh (new) profile may fix it (though it still doesn't explain why this affects FF, TB, SB all together).

Yes, no lines with the Default skin.
Try un-installing it, then deleting all it's directories as well, though.

Yeah, no go. Fresh installs, new profiles, safe mode--they all still have those blasted lines between toolbars. Guess I'm stuck with it. It's annoying, but I can live with it.
