    Unable to remove old kernels

    I currently have 2.6.22-14-386

However, when I try to remove the previous versions, they apparently are only partially removed. What's going on here?
I have had previous success removing old kernels this way.

the link is for a cleaner look instead of everything wrapping.

Re: Unable to remove old kernels

I haven't had to uninstall any of the older kernels yet due to the many reinstallations I've done after fragging my system beyond my ability to repair (my preferred learning method ), but I believe all the kernels you have installed should be listed separately in Adept. Just look for your old kernel and tell Adept (or apt, or Synaptic, or . . .) to purge it from your system.

If I'm wrong, I apologize ( :P ) and would like to learn the proper method to deal with this issue
