    apt-get update/upgrade does nothing

    Hi,

I am fairly new to Kubuntu and just installed Gutsy. After the initial update/upgrade, I can no longer get packages that need upgrading. It always shows 0 upgradeable packages. This has been going on for about a week now. I find it hard to believe that nothing has been updated for a whole week. I have tried the main and the US servers.

Is this normal and if not does anyone have any clues. This also happened when I did a dist-upgrade from Fiesty to Gutsy. I reinstalled thinking that would fix the problem.

    Any insights appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Frank

I haven't had any upgrades on either my gutsy machines for a week either. I am quite happy with that

        OK,

Then I guess I'm OK. I compaired packages with Rog131 and I seem to be current.

        Thanks!!!
