No boot options-goes straight through, please help!

I've just installed kubuntu 7.10 on my second hard drive.
When I boot, kubuntu starts without giving me an option to boot to Fedora that I've got on the first hard drive.
I've added Fedora in the /boot/grub/menu.lst, but it doesn't help.
Please, do you know anything about this!
    thank you!

When I did that the root=dev... I understand it needs UUID. But where do I get it?
    Thank you!
