source list is empty , can't update any thing

I changed the source.list content then exectue command suddenly all links in source list has been erased (empty)

how can i find the origin sources as when installing linux

With this generator you can create your own custom sources.list from various available sources. It takes only two simple steps.

After this:

Step two: select repositories

Finally press "Create sources.list"

Press Alt+F2 and type kdesudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list

Copy&paste lines from you browser to the sources.list


Something like this:

I don't think the source repositories are different for 64-bit. I think the package manager handles the differences between packages for your particular OS, and only shows you the ones that are packaged for your version. But that's only my speculation -- I'd love to hear the expert answer to the question.
